Well I just thought I would introduce myself.

I was diagnosed with PCOS and insulin resistance 10 years ago at the age of 20. Had always sporadic periods, great gyno did testing and the internal ultrasound and got the diagnosis. Of course at that time things weren’t nearly as hopeful as they are now.

Instead of informing me of any kind of treatment he just put me on birth control. I had my pcp test again several years later and she confirmed he was right. She prescribed met but I never took it. I was in complete denial. So here I sit 30 years old about 60 pounds heavier that at the time of diagnosis, struggling with the excess hair and acne and I am tired.

I called the dr and asked for the met again.
